  Soy Good for You

A dairy-free smoothie with a good source of B group vitamins and folate. With no saturated fat, it is healthy for the heart too.

Ideal for the milk-intolerant, this smoothie is virtually fat-free, provides fibre and about a quarter of your daily calcium needs.

Serves: 1

Preparation time: 5 minutes

1 banana
200 mL low fat soy beverage (calcium fortified)
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 teaspoon honey

Add all ingredients to a blender and mix well. Add ice for a chilled smoothie.
