Experience shows that when promotions are undertaken by the industry and retailers support them with banana displays in store, sales increase. Retailer News is predominantly distributed by banana wholesalers through the various markets where retailers purchase their fruit.
Bunching Together
Australian banana growers are kept informed of the banana industry’s marketing activities through Bunching Together, an informative newsletter that is produced up to four times a year. Bunching Together is a collection of stories about the various advertising campaigns and promotional events surrounding the current banana activities. These vary from TV and radio campaigns, nutritional information right through to having bananas available at community events.
